Description[edit | edit source]
Bayek was born and raised in Siwa. When he became an adult, he took the role of Medjay of his village. This meant that he was responsible for upholding the law and order in the community and he took his responsibilities to heart.
One day, Ptolemaic soldiers arrived in Bayek's village. They demanded access to the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, but when Bayek refused to grant their wish, a fight broke out. His son was among the casualties of the battle.
Once the dust settled, Bayek was cast out of the village. He lost everything, including his wife, Aya. His only goal since then is to avenge the death of his child.
