This page details the Player Progression mechanics found in Assassin's Creed: Origins.

Levels and Experience[edit | edit source]

The main progression mechanic in Assassin's Creed: Origins revolves around acquiring XP and leveling Bayek.

In order to get XP, players need to complete various activities that range from killing enemies, through completing Main Quests, to interacting with Ancient Mechanisms. When a certain XP threshold is reached, Bayek will level up and players will receive an Ability Point that they can spend on new Abilities.

The maximum level for Bayek is 40, but past that, players can still receive experience. At level 40, every 10,000 XP acquired will grant a new Ability Point.

Players gain Ability Points by leveling up or completing specific activities (like killing a War Elephant). These points then can be used to purchase various Abilities for Bayek.
