Tombs are a side Activity in Assassin's Creed: Origins.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The main goal of exploring Tombs is to get to the Ancient Tablet in each one. Acquiring the Tablet will complete the location and award 1 Ability Point to the player for reach Tomb. While players explore the Tombs, they will also find Silica and other treasures.

However, inside the Tombs, players will also come across Ancient Mechanisms. These devices offer a connection with the future and they are a separate activity that can be completed.

Currently, there are 14 Tombs and 6 Ancient Mechanisms in total. Five of the Mechanisms are inside a Tomb and the sixth can be found inside the Great Sphinx.

Tips[edit | edit source]

It's very important to have a light source while navigating the dark Tombs. Make sure to bring a torch, as it can be used to light your surroundings, check the bottom of a pit, or burn cobwebs that stand in your way.

Using the Animus Pulse often is generally a good idea. It can reveal hidden objects and random loot, as well as items you need to complete the activity.

In some of the Tombs, there will be Cobras hidden inside pottery. Be careful when breaking it and be ready to jump back at any moment.
